About Dr. S.B. Kumar
Since 1983, Dr. S.B. Kumar has proudly served the Seminole Heights community in Tampa, Florida—a vibrant, historic neighborhood located just five miles north of downtown. When he’s not creating healthy, beautiful smiles, Dr. Kumar enjoys spending time on the golf course, perfecting his swing and enjoying the outdoors. Golf provides him with the same focus and precision he brings to his dental work, making both passions deeply rewarding. Whether in the office or on the green, he values patience, skill, and continuous improvement.

Dr. Nina Kumar brings nearly two decades of dental expertise and the dynamic energy of New York City to Tampa. Since 2007, she has been practicing in NYC, offering her patients fresh perspectives and the latest techniques - delivering a modern and warmly personalized dental experience. Dr. Nina is dedicated to helping each patient look and feel their best.
Driven by a passion for innovation and excellence, Dr. Nina pursued advanced mentorship in Full Mouth Rehabilitation in New York City, learning from some of the most respected clinicians in the field. Now, she is sharing her knowledge and experience as a faculty member, mentoring other dental professionals who are committed to achieving the highest standards in their practice.

Shannon has been part of our dental family for over 25 years, working side-by-side with Dr. S.B. Kumar since her early days as a dental assistant and now welcoming patients at the front desk. She knows many of our patients personally and takes pride in remembering the details that make each visit feel comfortable and familiar.
She also supported Dr. Nina Kumar remotely for the past five years, assisting with insurance coordination and patient care. Because she understands both doctors so well, Shannon helps make every step of the dental experience smooth, organized, and reassuring. Her loyalty, warmth, and dedication make her a truly invaluable part of Kumar Dental Studio.
